Tom Gaither, MD, MAS is currently a medical student pursuing a master's degree in epidemiology and biostatistics. His research interests include benign urologic disease, genitourinary development, and LGBTQ health outcomes. He is building his expertise in observational research methodology to determine causal inference and for building predictive models. He joined the Baskin lab in 2016 and has worked on a clinical outcomes project of children with renal congenital abnormalities-- mainly multicystic dysplastic kidneys. He is originally from Indiana and enjoys exploring the Bay Area and all the San Francisco has to offer.
